DR mike & phyllis burton - senior pastor
Mike and Phyllis had a vision for Grace Family Church in 2002 after faithfully pastoring another church for 11 years. Their vision is to make the church relevant and meaningful for today's audience. Their passion has always been to share God's life-changing Word and witness the transformation and impact when applied to a person's life. Mike and Phyllis love sharing life together and have four grown children and thirteen grandchildren. Mike has a Ph.D. in Theology and a Doctorate of Ministry from Southwest Seminary.
justin & natalie kirtley - worship pastor
Pastor Justin joined Grace Family Church staff in March 2012. Prior to joining, Justin was the Worship Director at a church in west Houston. Justin is a native of Houston, TX and currently makes his home in Tomball. He received his Bachelor's of Business Administration degree in Management from the University of Houston in 2008. He is also a graduate of the Stamps-Baxter School of Music in Nashville. You can find Justin many weekends singing on stages all over Texas with Gospel Express, a Southern Gospel quartet which Justin has been singing with for the last fifteen years. Justin has been married to Natalie since 2008 and they now have two beautiful young daughters. His hobbies include hunting, fishing, and playing golf. Justin's goal is to challenge those in attendance to experience the presence of God through praise and worship, both corporately and privately. Whether it is an old hymn, a gospel song, or the latest contemporary praise song, Justin is comfortable and able to capture the heart of its praise.
Jacob and PattY Shelton
Jacob and his wife Patty have three beautiful children, Sophia, Landon and Gabby. All are excited to be a part of the Grace Family. In previous roles Jacob has served as an Associate Pastor, Worship Pastor, Teacher and a High School Assistant Principal. He graduated from the University of Houston with his undergrad degree and from Texas A&M-Commerce with a Masters in Educational Administration. Above all he loves discipling students and helping them grow into integral members of the church body.
cameron magee -
college and career Pastor
Pastor Cameron Magee has been active in Grace Family Church’s youth group since 2005 having lived in the Spring area all his life. Upon graduating from high school and while attending college, Cameron had a desire to serve and help people. It was during this time that he felt the call from God into ministry and was ordained in 2018. Cameron is passionate about sharing God’s word with everyone in a dynamic and applicable way.
jennifer mcclanahan - children's director
Jennifer has always loved children. She has been involved in children's ministry since her early teen years working her way from VBS and nursery care to Co-Nursery Director and Children's Director. She is the Director of KidZone (1st-5th grades) and oversees the Pre-School Director, Sherri Simmons (Safari Land: 1 yr-Kindergarten), and the Nursery Coordinator, Georgia Blackler.

Sherri loves serving and teaching children. GFC pre-school, Safari Land, ranges from 1yr olds to Kindergarten. Sherri is married to Arrel who serves on the Worship Team., They have four children and two grandchildren. God and family come first .
Georgia Blackler -
Georgia started babysitting at 12 years old. At 16 she started working with children at La Petite academy. After she turned 18 she worked as a Nanny for several families. When Georgia and her husband Chris started having kids of their own, she began running a Nursery at a local Houston Private school. Now she is thankful for the opportunity to love on the sweet babies of Grace Family every week. Georgia would love to hear from each of you with any questions or concerns you may have.
Katie McKnight -
Katie is married to Sean McKnight and they have two wonderful boys, Jaxon and Jeremiah. Besides being the Ministry Assistant, Katie blesses us with her God given voice as member of the Praise team and she is also the organizer of our Vacation Bible School every summer.
Brenda birminghaM -

Brenda is married to "Mr. Jim", our beloved Kindergarten teacher, and they have two grown daughters and several grand-kids. She has been an invaluable help to Pastor Mike and to Grace Family Church from it's very beginnings.
Event & Communication coordinator
Dawn and her family have been members of Grace Family Church since 2009 after moving back to Spring, Texas from Corpus Christi. Since that time she has faithfully served in the Children’s Ministry as a Sunday School and Vacation Bible School teacher. Dawn has also been a valued member singing on the praise and worship team since 2010. She grew up in Spring and attended Spring High School before earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio. Dawn is married to her wonderful husband and has three amazing sons, Samuel, Ellis, and Oliver. Dawn is excited to join the staff at Grace Family Church where her late father, David Wright, served as an elder for many years.

The term deacon comes from the Greek word diákonos meaning servant or minister. The role or office of deacon was developed in the early church primarily to minister to the physical needs of the members of the body. Our deacons and deaconesses are faithful servers at our church and are available to help you and pray with you as needed.
