Youth With A Mission
WEBSITE |
FACEBOOKYouth With A Mission is an international volunteer movement of Christians from many backgrounds, cultures and Christian traditions, dedicated to serving Jesus throughout the world. Also known as YWAM (pronounced "WHY-wham"), our purpose is simply to know God and to make Him known. When YWAM began in 1960, our main focus was giving young people opportunities to demonstrate the love of Jesus to the whole world, according to His command in Mark 16:15. Today, we still focus on youth, but we have members (known as “YWAMers”) of almost every age and many of our short-term efforts have grown into long-term endeavors that have impacted lives and nations. YWAM has a decentralized structure that encourages new vision and the exploration of new ways to change lives through training, convey the message of the gospel and care for those in need. We are currently operating in more than 1000 locations in over 180 countries, with a staff of over 18,000.
Bless Back ProjectMembers of Grace Family Church recently took part in a community wide mission assignment. Each person who attended our services on Sunday, December 18th, received an envelope containing varying amounts of new $2 bills. The challenge issued was to bless someone while representing GFC and especially our Savior. We challenged everyone to use their own creative ideas and to be sensitive to how God may want them to use their “gift.”

Bless Back ProjectSubmit your testimony using the form to the left, or email blessback@gfcspring.org.Jan 1, 2012I went to Sam's on Monday, Dec 19, to get supplies for the coffee bar. There is a young man that helps me load my car. Sometimes I don't have money to give him for helping. So with the Bless Back money I gave him $4 of my money. He is going to give it to his grandchildren to help them save for something special they want. He asked that we pray for his mother who was having surgeory. Her name is Rose Marie. It was good I could help him. After Sam's I went to the church to unload and then to a local restaurant. They had a special jar for donations for Jesus Guirereero who was dying from kidney failure. His wife is working hard to keep the house up with what she makes. So I gave the rest of my $12 to that cause. They thanked me and the church so much for doing such and great thing.Matt 6:33, Matt 22:39-Sweet MamaDec 30, 2011We took several envelopes of "Bless Back" cash, multipled it and paid for someone's car to get fixed without them knowing. Seeing there face tell the story of how someone blessed them for Christmas was the best gift I've ever given!-Dawn RodgersDec 30, 2011We had not been out and about enough to get to give away our "Bless Back" before Christmas. Yesterday we went to eat at Potato Patch, when we noticed a young mother and her two children across from us. When we went to leave, I walked over and put envelope on the table and told her that we wanted to take care of her bill, at least most of it. She hugged me and said she had been having a rough day. She had been at the repair shop with her car, with both kids. I told her that we attended GFC - she lives just around the corner from the church!-Melissa HammDec 24, 2011Well today one of my coworkers went to get donuts. While in the store someone broke her car window to steal some items. I used the bless back project money to help replace her window. Thank you GFC-Manny PovedaDec 22, 2011There is a lady who buses tables at IHOP that is the hardest working lady and she also works at Luby's as a cook she never slows down and though it is not her job she is always asking us if we need anything or puts a menu up to block the sun if it is shining in our eyes. She was so surprised she said "do I get to keep this or do I have to pass it on" we got a big smile when we said keep it.-Robert MillsDec 22, 2011We go eat every Sun. at IHOP Cypress Station and I blessed a single mom who is also taking care of her mom. She works so hard and always has a smile and a hug for us. I got a bigger hug this time when I blessed her. She is not our waitress she works the front section but she always makes it a point to speak to us.-Marcella MillsDec 22, 2011We went to Dollar General and blessed a lady who was shopping there.-Jasmine GarciaDec 21, 2011There are just a few people during Christmas time that remember the guys that pick up our trash and collect our recycle items, twice a week thru the all year. On December 18th we got $16.00 from the church, putting some more money out of our pockets, we went and bought six winter jackets at a retail store. Wrap them in a nice Christmas paper, put a little card that read: "to a Great Service Man", and gave them away to these hard working men. Just looking at their happy and full of gratitude faces when they saw the present, was a big Christmas gift to us. We give thanks to the Lord that He bless us with everything we need and more, so we can be a blessing to others. This is what Christmas is all about!! God bless us all!-Juan and Claudia LaurencioDec 20, 2011Cameron and I took our bless back money and added our own to it, and left our waitress at Golden Corral, a single teenage mom, a tip that was equal to our meal cost. Thank you for helping us bless someone else.-ConnieDec 20, 2011Lisa and I pulled our money and gave it to a family in the church who's dad is unemployed. Jagger paid for some one elses cookie order at the mall. This project is neat and i hope we can do this again. We were blessed while blessing others.-Chris McCarthyDec 20, 2011My family pooled our money and gave it to a youg lady . It helped to buy Christmas for her family. It felt good to see her face light up when we gave it to her. God truly blesses us when we give. -Dena Peavler

Water for LIFE Ministries
WEBSITEEvery purchase you make at the GFC Coffee Bar is donated toWater for LIFE Ministries.Everyday, children all over the world walk miles down a “road of death” to fetch their daily water. This water isn’t even clean – it’s filled with all sorts of water-borne diseases. The diseases found in unclean, contaminated water kill 1.8 million children every year. Because of diseased water, up to 50% of all people in poverty-stricken nations suffer severe health problems. Sadly, they are unable to fix the situation because they are too poor… But we can step in and provide the help they desperately need.In Matthew 10:42, Jesus urges us to give water to the thirsty. Taking this call to heart, Mission: Water for LIFE drills wells for suffering communities, delivering fresh, clean water to these "little ones."A new well offers relief in so many ways: it stops disease, promotes healthy bodies, and provides the means for families to become self-sufficient by growing their own gardens and caring for their own animals.Clean water is absolutely vital. With clean water, these thirsty communities can do more than merely survive – THEY CAN TRULY HAVE LIFE! Just as this water brings them physical life and health, these wells stand for years as a reminder of the Living Water: Jesus Christ. The clean water they receive every single day lets them know that God truly loves them!In the past 10 years, the drilling of fresh water wells has produced a staggering amount of clean water. With more than 2500 wells now in use, each serving an average of 1000 people, the estimated number of changed lives reaches 2.5 million. In 2011, the 12th year of Mission: Water for LIFE, our goal is to drill 400 new wells in 400 rural villages in 20 nations around the world. The average cost of each well is $4,800. Each well provides water for 1,000 people or more. This means that a child can receive a lifetime of clean water for as little as $4.80.This life-giving outreach is an exciting demonstration of God’s love because clean water really can change EVERYTHING!

Worship isn't about Sunday mornings, or a great band, or cool lighting... it's about the heart. At Grace, we don't want you to come to church to worship, but come already worshiping. Each moment we make a decision to worship. Whether it be God, ourselves, the TV, or a chocolate shake... It's just the way we're designed. Our desire is to make a decision to live each moment for HIS glory
, and in HIS will.Listen to our Worship | Find us on FacebookPhoto GalleryService through Worship|Worship through Service We believe an aspect of worship is service, and our worship ministry provides many opportunities for people to utilize their gifts and talents to serve God and others. What We BelieveAbout GodGod is the creator and ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed in three personalities: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and one God.About JesusJesus is the son of God. He lived a sinless human life and offered himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on a cross. He rose from the dead after three days to demonstrate his power over sin and death. He ascended to heaven"s glory and will return again someday to earth to reign as King and Lord of Lords.About the Holy SpiritHe is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus. He also lives in every Christ follower from the moment of salvation. He provides us with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth and guidance in doing what is right. He gives every believer a spiritual gift when they are saved.About the BibleIt is God"s Word to us. It was written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living. It is inspired by God and it is truth without any mixture for error. It is without error in its original form. (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20, 21; 2 Timothy 1:13; Psalm 119:105, 160, 12:6; Proverbs 20:5)About HumansPeople are made in the spiritual image of God to be like him in character. People are the supreme object of God"s creation. Although every person has tremendous potential for good, all of us are marred by an attitude of disobedience toward God called "sin." This attitude seperates people from God and causes many problems in life. (Genesis 1:27; Psalm 8:3-6; Isaiah 53:6a; Romans 3:23; Isaiah 59: 1, 2)
